Brad Barberi, 15 years old, and I reside in Santa Clara, California.
How many years have you been skating for?
Almost four years of skateboarding.
What made you want to start skating?
My dad bought me my first complete board when I was five, then I got back into skating
when I was like 10 and a half and haven’t stopped!
Where do you usually skate?
Lake Cunningham skate park , or in the streets.
Do you skate with a set crew of people or do you mix it up a little?
I mix it up a little, sometimes I skate with my friends , or just with my friend Michael
Chaffin, or just grab my bike and board and just skate a spot by myself.
What set up are you skating?
*8 in Ohana shop deck
*33 size ace trucks
* 53 mm wheels for street and 58 or 56mm for vert, I just switch out the wheels for vert
and street skating.
What do you enjoy most about skating?
When you land a trick after a long time of trying it, or just when your having fun with
your friends.
What do you like to do when your not skating?
Um… eat ,sleep or just go to the shop and help out.
What would your ideal day be like?
When I get to skate both vert and street at the same park or when im landing tricks clean
and learing new ones.
Skaters… who would be your top 3 picks and why?
• Peter Hewitt, because he’s got a sick vert style
• Eli Reed, because he does some sick tricks
• Ryan decenzo, he just does big stuff
Where would you say is your favorite place to skate?
Lake Cunningham or Mayfair skate park.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
Undecided.
Any words of advice to those that are starting out?
Don’t quit, and skate for fun.
