How about a little introduction?
Caleb Rodriguez, 23, San Jose.
How did you get into skating?
A buddy of mine introduced me to it.
What do you think you would be doing if you never started skating?
Probably trying to learn to play guitar.
What is your typical setup that you skate?
Any Beer Run deck size 8 and up. low and wide indy's and some 51 mm wheels. For all of you who dont know about Beer Run, get with the program quick.
Do you have a crew of people that you usually skate with?
The Ohana homies... Pancho Pacheco, Caesar Rosado, Joe Hutchison, Saul Cervantes, Jason "Pony" Martinez and Matt Posada.
What would you say is your most favorite thing about skating?
Theres no right or wrong way to do it. You make what you want out of it. It's independent.
Who is your favorite skater and why?
Too many to name, way too many...
Your getting some hook ups going these days right? Who keeps you pushing the wood?
Yea. Ohana hooked me up. Then Beer Run picked me up through Ohana boardshop. I dunno why cause I suck, hopefully I dont get dropped haha.
Any advice to kids out there just starting out?
First and foremost have fun, skate with your friends. Dont follow trends, skating's about individuality. Stay away from the mall. Support Ohana, we'll take care of you.
