Established in 2005, Ohana Board Shop caters to the surf and skate industries by providing only the best in hardgoods, softgoods, shoes, and apparel. Located in San Jose, Ohana Board Shop has become a recognized name in Northern California through its involvement with the board sports community via video premieres, events, contests, and more.

Ohana Board Shop is owned and operated by husband and wife team Arun & Anne-Michelle Frances.

Arun Frances is an internationally renowned Photographer who brings over 20 years of surfing and skating experience into the shop. He first picked up a camera after spending several months away from his favorite sports due to a knee injury. Since then, the shutter hasn’t stopped!

Between shooting pro tour stops, being the proud father of little rippers Maleah and Brody, demoing and contributing to the production of up and coming board companies, and spending time with his family, he somehow always has energy to spare, and his passion for board sports continues to grow every day.

He is an ongoing contributor to Alliance Magazine, Wakeworld, DPC Films, and various other publications.

Anne-Michelle Frances is the one who keeps the ball rolling and the business moving at Ohana Board Shop. She received her undergraduate degree from Santa Clara University, then continued for professional certification at San Jose State University. She spent over five years in IT and Public Relations in the corporate world, she acts as Vice President and Fundraising Chair for their children's preschool, and she's the one who handles most of the deals at the shop with her years of business experience.

Her endless support and enthusiasm for board sports is contageous, and most frequently you can catch her surfing, traveling along on 50cc rides, teaching their children, Maleah and Brody, how to skateboard, and being an official "boat bunny".

She is also an ongoing contributor to WakeWorld.
